Serious collision sends N.S. man to hospital with life threatening injuries

27-year-old man has been transported to hospital via LifeFlight following a serious collision Sunday morning.
Just after midnight, Kings RCMP responded to a two-vehicle collision on Highway 101 in Waterville, N.S.
The 27-year-old man from North Alton, N.S. was taken to hospital with life threatening injuries.
The other driver, a 26-year-old man from Wilmot, N.S. was also taken to hospital with minor injuries. There were no other occupants in the vehicles.
The highway was closed while RCMP Traffic Analysts examined the scene. It has since re-opened.
The investigation is ongoing.
LifeFlight called in after serious collision in Waterville

A 27-year-old North Alton man was rushed to hospital via LifeFlight following a collision on Highway 101 April 28.
The two-vehicle accident occurred in Waterville shortly after midnight.
An RCMP statement says the North Alton man suffered life-threatening injuries and the driver of the other vehicle, a 26-year-old man residing in Wilmot, survived with minor injuries.
“Both drivers were the only occupants in the vehicles,” the RCMP media release says.
The stretch of highway spanning between Exits 14 and 15 was temporarily closed to allow RCMP traffic analysts to investigate.
The investigation is ongoing.
